With the development of society, people begin to seek a healthy life and good life quality,antibacterial deodorant fabric gradually be the attention of people. Good physical propertiesand textile properties of nylon fibers has also been the attention of people. How to guaranteethe premise of fiber physical properties of nylon (PA) fiber improve the antibacterialproperties, become the nylon (PA) antimicrobial modification of focus.PA is modified by the silver-loading zeolite and rare earth. the ternary blends ofsilver-loading zeolite/rare earth and PA based on the method of melting spinning. variousproperties of the material are discussed. The main contents are as follows:the silver-loading zeolite was prepared by ion exchange method with zeolite as thecarrier and AgNO3solution as the exchange solution. and the authors discussed how silvercontent(CAg) of silver-loading zeolite were influenced by preparation technics under differentgiven condition.The blending materials of PA/silver-loading zeolite and rare earth are prepared by usingdirect molten blending method, and its crystallization process is charactered, and therheological behavior were studied.PA is blended with silver-loading zeolite and rare earth in different proportion, and theantibacterial fiber are prepared by using direct molten blending method. And themicro-morphology and the mechanical property of the fiber were studied.There are three kinds of fibers: PA and silver-loading zeolite blending fiber, PA and rareearth blending fiber, PA/silver-loading zeolite and rare earth blending fiber. The antibacterialproperties of the antibacterial fibers are studied.The results of the study show that:The optimum conditions of preparing the silver-loading zeolite are: PH:5; reaction Time:3h; grain size:200-300meshes; reaction temperature:50℃; concentration of the AgNO3solution:0.15mol/L.The addition of silver-loading zeolite and rare earth resulted in heterogeneous nucleationcrystallization of the blending materials, make the crystal grain more fine, and improved the crystallinity of PA.The rheological behavior curves of the composite become more apparent shear-thinning.It showed the blend systems are pseudoplasticfluid, and its apparent viscosity was droppedwith increasing the Silver-loaded zeolite and the rare earth content,the rheological propertiescan be improved.The addition of stearic acid increased the compatibility between the annexing agent andPA. with the increasing of powder content, the dispersion of the silver-loading zeolite and rareearth will decrease, and the defects in the fibers will increase,the strength of the fiber wasdecline with the increasing powder content.The antibacterial fiber had an excellent antibacterial performance against Escherichiacoli, Bacillus subtilis and Sarcina. Antibacterial rate is relatively high in a short time.Antibacterial fiber is more satisfied with the efficient, rapid and broad-spectrum antimicrobialrequirements. The addition of the rare earth improves the antibacterial properties of silverzeolite. When you add about3%of the added components,the fiber has good mechanical andantibacterial properties.
