| Global second big printer production enterprise OKI Corporation in Japan owns thepatent technology of LED printer. This paper first analysis the color printing paper which usedfor LED technology and concluded that the material of this base paper was aspen, the pulpingprocess was kali chemical pulp,the sizing agent was AKD in internal sizing process and thesynergist was PAE,the strengthen agent or filter aid was modified starch, the filler of the basepaper was calcium carbonate. In the coating paper, the pigments were GCCã€kaolin andtitanium dioxide, the adhesion agents were PVA and starch, the water retention agent wasCMC.At present OKI corporation proposed the new environmental protection idea—Reducesthe production cost of the high quality printing paper through straw pulp making paper,simultaneously will enormously protect the forest resources. So it is meaningful that using theannual herb raw material to make the high quality printer paper. In view of this, to reduce thecost, to satisfy the environmental protection request, the paper conducts the research to thepreparation of colored printing paper with reed pulp.During making the colored printing base paper, by orthogonal experiment, the besttechnological condition is determined: the ratio of wood pulp and reed pulp25:75, wood pulpbeating degree25.5°SR,reed pulp beating degree35.9°SR, amount of calcium carbonate12%,cationic starch1.3%, AKD0.5%, PAE0.8%. Under this condition, the physical intensityof papermaking by hand is: whiteness69.8%ISO,tensile indices39.62N·m·g-1,tear index8.9mN·m2/g,folding endurance42times, surface resistance3.2×109.Each parameter canbasically satisfy the target of colored printing basic paper.During making the colored printing coating paper, Ground Calcium Carbonate (GCC)ã€kaolin and titanium dioxide as pigments, carboxylated SBR latexã€hydroxyethyl starch andPVA as binder, CMC as water retention agent, sodium polyacrylate as dispersant agent, ureaformaldehyde condensate (UF) as water-resisting admixture, dimethyl silicon oil asdefoamer,OBA as whitener. Making a seriously research on pigments ratioã€pigment dispersecondition, binder ratio and CMC dosage through experiment. The best coating formula is: the ratio of GCCã€kaolin and titanium dioxide50:45:5, disperse concentration70%, the amountof sodium polyacrylate0.09%, NaOH0.04%, jitter time16min; the ratio of bindercarboxylated SBR latexã€hydroxyethyl starch and PVA8:7:1; the amount of CMC0.6%.Under this condition, the physical intensity of coating paper is: whiteness87.1%ISO,tensileindices36.02N·m·g-1,tear index7.9mN·m2/g,folding endurance17times, surface resistance4.02×108. Compared with sample paper, the folding endurance was a little lower whichshould be improved.The innovation spots of this paper are making colored printing paper with reed instead ofwood, and adding chemical additive to domestically pulp and coating agents to producecolored printing paper of the LED printer, which open the new use of papermakingsupplementary material. |
