| This paper has discussed the development of eddy current brake and the status and trend of testing methods at home and abroad. Based on the popular used of eddy current brake. Closely combining with the current technical conditions, a practical testing platform of eddy current brake has been developed, so as to make technical preparation for structural improvement and product quality of eddy current brake.The whole program of performance testing-platform of Eddy Current Brake has been designed and completed. According to the needs of experiment, a testing bench has been designed. work principle and performance of eddy current brake are analyzed to choose appropriate sensors to measure these parameters, which combined with laboratory experimental study. Structure of information collection system utilizes the distributed data acquisition. Use Advantech IPC as the data collection terminal. It has been improved the efficiency of data collection. Taiwan Advantech PCI-1715U is chosen as data acquisition module. PCI-1715U increases the transmission capacity in real time effectively. The design and building of this eddy current brake testing platform is complete, we test the platform in the field respectively, and the testing result shows that the platform can fulfill all the design specifications of the system. |
