Intermittent production is a energy saving technology without investing for low permeability oil field.By the liquid recovery of well bore, overcoming the liquid supply capacity can not meet the work needs of oil pumping equipment, which shortening the running time of the pumping unit and improve the efficiency of the system and an operating system innovation. However, due to intermittent production will take some time to restore liquid level. In this process, the well bore pressure increases, followed by a decrease of the pressure difference between the well bore and formation and a reduction of the formation seepage. The main purpose of this paper is the analysis based on intermittent production theory and exploration based on production practices.Comprehensive investigation of existing research methods and in-depth research of intermittent production wells seepage characteristics and between open mechanism is made. A model of the intermittent production cycle is created and solved. Because of its complex changes of bottomhole pressure, previous method can not be used to predict its production changes.Considering production and pressure history, this paper gives a typical model and solution of its derivation. Sorting out the basic parameters of well testing analysis and some empirical formula. Well testing analysis typical curve is plotted considering starting pressure gradient, and easy flow of available capacity to evaluation of production and work system is preferable to use. Combined with filed examples, the effect is significant.
