Sucker-rod pump oil recovery is the most widely used mode both home and abroad .Its mating system includes both hardware and software. The hardware equipments such as pumping unit, sucker rod, sucker rod pump, oil well pump and software parameters such as swabbing parameter, pump setting depth parameter. System efficiency is the scientific norm to evaluate the rod pumping system. A great deal of research has been carried out to the software of the mating equipments of rod pumping system and optimum design ,but the efficiency of the system as a whole is very low. The system efficiency of many domestic sucker rod pump well is not up to 20%.The system efficiency of sucker rod pump well in Tahe oil recovery No1 distriction mentioned in this paper has been up to 16.42%. According to the practical situations in this oil field, this paper aims to find out the main causes of low efficiency through the analysis of the practically measured efficiency, the decomposing of the system efficiency and the factors of affecting the system efficiency. On this basis and according to the practical situation of different development -block oil well, this paper proposes some operable and specific measures which is designed for improving the system efficiency.As for the problems of general low efficiency of the oil field well casing and the unreasonable configuration of the swabbing parameter and the pump setting depth, this paper has developed "rod-pumped well system optimization and design software" which takes system efficiency as objective function.Through the application of the results of software optimization and design and the improvement of mating technology for the system efficiency, the average liquid-producing quantity at eleven experiment oil wells has increased 32.3mVd. And the system efficiency of the other two oil wells that can conduct comparison totally respectively raised 14.72% and 21.66%. The research result of this paper plays a significant and important role in the oil field production.
