The simulation system of CNC machine center is not only an important training tool for CNC operators, but also an effect way to validate the NC program and evaluate the machinability of product. Currently, the simulation system of NC machine in the general market can basically meet the needs of teaching and learning, but no progress has been made for many years both in function and the user experience.Combining the advantage of the traditional simulation software, we redesign the simulation system of CNC machine center to improve the integrity of the model structure and enhance the realism of model performance, thus improving the user experience.To make better use of the machine model, the alignment simulation of the CNC machine center has also joined the simulation system making it more diverse. The motion simulation module which is driven by spreadsheet can easily achieve assembly and disassembly animation creation and playback controls. In order to achieve real-time sectioning, a fast cut algorithm is proposed based on triangular mesh model.The virtual control panel is transferred from the PC to the tablet, which will make the use of the operation closer to the real scene. The wireless control panel can operate the CNC machine tools at distance based on the RPC protocol. NC code can be formatted, edited and parsed by the virtual control system just like the real one.Cutting process simulation is the core part of the simulation system. A boolean intersection algorithm which is based on triangle mesh is proposed after the analyzing of the limits of the existing algorithms. And a tool envelope generation algorithm is also proposed in this paper.
