This paper aims to develop a set of yarn constant tension controller, and this controller can be applied to multiple process of textile industry, such as weaving, winding, spinning, etc, in order to solve the instability of yarn tension which will affects the textiles in the textile industry. This device ensure strict monitoring of actual yarn tension when it is at working, and compared with the value which the operator’s preset to adjust yarn tension in real time, so that the yarn tension will be keep stable in seted range, and get the high quality finished product. This device can meet the needs of China’s vast textile market, also bring the quality of China’s textile market with a big increase.STM32F103ZET6chip as its control core, hardware design includes tension measurement, tension control, circuit design and product appearance design. Software design includes motor driven, temperature detection, wireless communication, etc, of seven parts. In the tension control process the adjusting module according to the measured data which get from tension measuring module with software filtering to generate control volume to change the speed of brushless motor, so as to control the tension of yarn, at the same time the data will also adaptive adjust the P1D controller parameters through Genetic Algorithm. The design successfully solved the problems of the yarn tension difficult control which because of numerical small difficult to measure, and tension change fast.
