SiC particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites with high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion coefficient, high strength and other characteristics, has been widely used in various fields of the national economy. On account of the existing high cost of preparation technology, complicated process problem, uneven organization. This paper carried out the preparation of uniform Al-SiC composites research, using numerical simulation and the independent research of two-way tilt straight blade impeller mechanical composite electromagnetic stirring technology, produces SiCp uniform distribution of Al-SiC semi-solid slurry, conducts regular semi-solid casting and related research work, and finally prepares the homogeneity of SiC particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites. The main research and results are as follows:(1) The numerical simulation method, study the effect of blade arrangement of SiC particles distribution. Simulation studies show that radial blade angle β affects the distribution of SiC in the crucible of the radial, axial blade angle γ affects the distribution of SiC in the crucible of the axial, proving the experiment scheme is feasible.(2) Using electromagnetic mechanical composite technology, adopting self-developed two-way tilt straight blade impeller preparation of SiC particles uniform distribution of aluminum alloy liquid, study the effect of blade arrangement of silicon carbide particles distribution. Experimental studies show that P affects the distribution of SiC in the crucible of the radial, y affects the distribution of SiC in the crucible of the axial, establishing the relationship model between blade angle and the SiC content.(3) Making Al-SiC semi-solid slurry, establishing the relationship model between solid rate and the mixing temperature.(4) Conducting conventional casting of Al-SiC semi-solid slurry, preparing Al-SiC composite materials. Establishing the relationship model between solid rate and silicon carbide particles in ingot, determine the realization of silicon carbide particles evenly distributed in the ingot casting conditions.
