Coal mine accidents bring huge economic losses to the country, they also bringcruel blow to the miners personal and their family, while the mine accident isassociated with the gas. So we should strengthen the monitoring of gas, the study ofthe gas detector is of great significance.Analysis of existing principles using different gas detector, select the opticalinterference principle gas detector to improve, but existing optical interferencemethane detector, measurement methods cumbersome, not intuitive readings, humanerror is large, the disadvantage can not store data.Combined detection principle we put forward the non-contact measurementconcept that we use the linear array CCD to acquire interference fringes on the basisof the original light path instead of the dial. We use the MPS-CCD module to collectthe interference fringe information on the basis of the physical construction of theAQG-1type gas detector. Using the microcontroller as the main control chip torealize digital methane gas detector. The design of digital optical interference methane gas detector is mainlyclassified into men-machine interface module, image acquisition module and basicperipheral module. By means of experiments, use the pressure type methane detector,we can determine the algorithm for the gas concentration through the data simulation, the length of the air chamber and so on. This detector has many functions, such as akey to zero, digital display, auto-alarm and so on.This detector uses Cortex-M3based on ARM as the main control chip, itimproves the measure precision and the response sensitivity, when the range of themeasurement is0-4%the indicating error is0.05, when the range is4%-10%, theindicating error is0.1, the measurement accuracy is high and the liability is good, soit offers protection to the underground workers.
