Aluminum alloy is the most widely used non-ferrous light metal material in the application of industrial, steel is the most ordinary and widely used structural metal material, the performance advantages of each material can be fully used and weight of the structure can be reduced effectively if the two materials achieve a reliable connection, which has important practical significance and good economic benefits. But it is difficult for the welding between aluminum alloy and steel because of the physical and mechanical performance difference between aluminum alloy and steel is much more.It takes a1.5mm5052aluminum alloy plate and a0.8mm ST07Z soft steel for car as research object in this paper, the finite element numerical simulation of aluminum/steel laser powder welding temperature field is simulated by welding simulation software SYSWELD, the process parameters of aluminum/steel laser powder filling welding are optimized and welding process is analyzed, and microstructure is analyzed, micro hardness is tested,mechanical is tested and fracture is analyzed for the welded joint.
