After hydrogen (H) or deuterium (D) atoms are charged into palladium (Pd) lattice by means of gas loading method at atmosphere pressure based on the character that Pd can absorb a lot of H/D gas very easily, a certain loading ratio (x, that is, atom amount ratio of H/D in Pd lattice) is obtained. Then the effects of temperature or pressure and current on production of excess heat in Pd wires with a certain loading ratios are studied in order to find out the condition under which factors that could affect the excess heat. The experiment results show that there were a quantity of "excess heat" in almost every temperature condition and pressure condition.By comparing the system constants (k=△/T/△P) in both nitrogen and hydrogen environment we found an optimum current (8A) and a hydrogen pressure (9×104Pa) in which the system could release a maximum excess power (more than90W). The reproducibility was12/12and the total excess energy was about2.67MJ, which was corresponding to102eV for each palladium atom.
