The main purpose of this study was to test the trace contaminants in recycled water whether there will be a potential ecological security issues in the recycling process from the perspective of toxicology, which could provide a scientific basis of the widespread use of reclaimed waterTwo recycled water in2different water treatments were deteceted, the results showed that both two recycled watercontained undegradative PAHs: naphthalene.fluorene, phenanthrene. Combined with the current research progress at home and abroad, there were lots of study on the3kinds of PAHs except for florene, so fluorene was chosen as the subject pollutant; adult zebrafish and zebrafish embryos for test receptors to studiedthe acute toxicity, subacute toxicity and enrichment of fluroene on zebrafish. The main research results were as follows:The acute toxicity research showed that fluorene belongs to high toxic substances, the96h LC50was3.66mg/L, safe concentration was1.11mg/L. Based on shown symptoms of zebrafish and structure of fluorene, the toxicity mechanism of fluorene ispreliminary judged to nonpolar paralysis. The subacute toxicity research showed that fluorene could seriously affect zebrafishantioxidant enzyme system:the Superoxide dismutase (SOD) and Catalase (CAT) enzymevitality induced at first and decreasd at last while the exposure time increased. The peak of SOD vitality appeared from12hto24h while the fluorene concentration decreased. But CAT vitality was less sensitive than SOD due to the peak of CAT vitality lag behind the peak of SOD vitality, the time lag increased from24h to48h while the fluorene concentration decreasdThe enrichment research showed that fluorene could enrich in zebrafish body. The bioconcentration factor increased while test concentration decreasd. The max bioconcentration factor was58.0, which showed that flourene enriched easily in zebrafish, and the fluorene had influence on the aquatic ecological environment. The toxicity on embryos showd that the adult zebrafish was more sensitive than embryo, which48h LC50was6.01mg/L,4.70mg/L respectively. The main effect time of fluorene was the toplOh after fertilization. The main effect target oragans of the fluorene was cardiac tissues. The most sensitive indicator was the significantly suppressed of zebrafish embryos heart rate. The sensitive indicators were heart rate abnormal>pericardial cyst>24h without active sports>yolk cyst>development block.
