In the fiber spinning process, the polyester chips is removed moisture by drying machine, and then extruded through the screw extruder after being melt by heating. Next metering pumps measure and spin the fiber accurately, and then the fiber cooled in the constant temperature and humidity conditions. Finally, the winder will spin the fiber to form cake shape. The high-speed winder is the hard-core of chemical fiber machines, it requires good performance of electric automatization, material and precision machining. However, the domestic chemical fiber companies spend less time and money in developing high performance of winders comparing with overseas companies. The most presently homemade winders’ winding line speed is less than2000m/min, and it does not fit for the requirement of filature, therefore, in order to meet the requirement of markets, it is most urgent to research and develop the high-speed winders.This paper describes a new generation of automatic high speed winder PKV298-150-type winder developed by the Pacific Mechatronic, and analyses respectively from three aspects which are the hardware system, process design and software implementation, in which anti-stack and constant speed control is winder’s hard-core technology. PKV298-150-type winder achieve a good winding through the control of the DSP+high-performance inverter while the friction roller speed control precision reaches±0.15%within the winding speed2500-5500m/min. PKV298-150-type winder is used for the production of polyester and other synthetic fibers.
