Among the desulfurization process, wet oxidation desulfurization technology was widelyused because of its advantage of high desulfurization rate, possibility of normal-pressureoperation and sulfur recycling. In the technology of wet oxidation desulfurization,regeneration process was an important and essential part to recycle desulfurization solution.The common recycling apparatus of desulfurization rich solution recycling process wasrecycling tank or tower. They often had the disadvantage of low gas-liquid mass transfer, poorregeneration rate and inadequate recycling. It was important to seek a recycling technology orapparatus with high gas-liquid mass transfer to solve these problems. As the rotating packedbed had the advantage of high mass transfer efficiency, small volume and convenientoperation, the technology of desulfurization rich solution recycling using rotating packed bedwas presented in this paper. It could be a good solution to achieve regeneration desulfurizationrich.This article took use of the rotating packed bed in the regeneration process of PDSdesulfurization rich solution. It studied the impact on the regeneration of the desulfurizationrich liquid by changing the rotation rate, gas flow and liquid flow. Inorganic ceramicmembrane and frame filter were applied during the sulfur-rich fluid particle recycling processof desulfurization. The effect of the separation between the two sulfur particles was studied.The main contents were as follows:(1)The result of orthogonal test and single factor experiment showed that under theappropriate condition of the rotation rate as1000r/min, gas flow as6m~3/h and liquid flow as40L/h, the recycling efficiency of PDS could be over48.5%, and the percent conversion ofsulfide concentration could be over59.3%. After recycling of26min under the condition of more appropriate, the recycling efficiency of PDS desulfurization rich solution could be over93%. Under suitable conditions, the regeneration of desulfurization rich solution is at95.18%after the secondary efficiency of the regeneration and the regeneration efficiency was22%higher than the traditional method.(2)Researching on sulfur-particle separation technology, inorganic ceramic membraneand plate-and-frame filter press were used as solid-liquid separation apparatus. The resultsshowed that, both of these two separation technology could remove over93%of the sulfurparticles in the desulfurization rich solution, solid content in the solutions was under0.3g/L.But the plate-and-frame filter press could get sulfur directly after separatation, avoidsecondary treating, and have lower running cost. It was more suitable to recover sulfur-particle in desulfurization rich solution.Rotating packed bed was used in the desulfurization rich solution recycling, andplate-and-frame filter press was used in the solid-solution separation of desulfurization richsolution. The result showed that, after disposed by both of these two kinds of technology, theefficiency of desulfurization rich solution could be improved effectively, the solid content inthe solutions could be reduced remarkable, the combine of these two technology in theprocess could be signality and promising.
