Graphene, a two-dimensional carbon material, is formed from a single layer of carbon atoms SP2hybrid orbitals. The unique structure of graphene determines its excellent properties and potential applications in many aspects such as mechanics, electricity, optics and thermology, etc. With the development of the research of graphene, the improvement of synthesis of graphene is needed.In this article, chemical vapor deposition is used to grow graphene films on copper foil. With the control of conditions and parameters during experiments, the synthesis and characterization of a monolayer high-quality graphene is achieved. Finally, the flexible gasbag made of the heating circuit based on graphene films integrated with TPU films, realizes the function of hot compress therapy in self-designed meibomian gland massager.The specific research avtivities completed in this paper are as follows:The structure and properties of graphene and its applications in various areas is introduced in this article. Synthesis, transfer and characterization methods of graphene are summarized, analyzed and compared with each other. Also, the principle of synthesis of graphene on copper by CVD is discussed, and the experimental system is designed and built. Then, the process of experiment and transfer is described and the samples are characterized.Through a lot of experiments, conditions and parameters during the process of synthesis of graphene on copper foil by CVD is analyzed, and the critical conditions and parameters which are pretreatment of the copper foil, growth temperature, growth time and gas flow during growth stage are concluded. Comparative experiments are designed for the four critical conditions, and the system is optimized to realize the synthesis of monolayer, large area and high-quality graphene.The various methods of hot compress therapy in medical devices are compared, and the heating circuit based on large area and high-quality graphene films is designed for the self-designed meibomain gland massager. The heating and temperature control of the gasbag is realized by the heating circuit and control circuit made of flexible material. Also, the integration of graphene films and TPU films is studied. With hot pressing process, the close combination of praphene films and TPU films is achieved.
