The Innovation And Application Of Bamboo Characteristics In The Design Of Home Accessories

China is rich in bamboo resources, which can be used to produce conceived distinctive andbeautiful product. However, due to the impact of handicrafts’brain drain and other factors inrecent years, the qualities of bamboo and bamboo crafts household goods have received a seriousimpact, and even decline trend. In this environment, bamboo products market need to inject thepower of design to the development of bamboo products in order to carry forward the essence ofbamboo culture, improve the market competitiveness of bamboo products.The main research of this paper is the application and innovative design of bambooproducts, summarized the relevant literature and existing market conditions of the bambooproducts. Outlined the application of the bamboo production in home accessories, Analysis of thematerials aspects of flexibility of bamboo products and combination of other materials, and soconducted as a design entry point for the design of household goods. Referencing other similarproduct design principle and method, leads to the bamboo product methods, provides guidance toactual production of bamboo products. In practice, by handmade bamboo products, it examinedthe validity and feasibility of the conclusions.By market research and literature describes two parts of my study. Conduct research andanalysis on the major features of bamboo and materials combine with other material field.Onthis basis, from a design perspective discusses how to properly play the advantages and avoid thedisadvantages of bamboo features. These provide a positive sense for future research anddevelopment of bamboo products. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part of thepurpose and significance of the bamboo product design market, the range of target markets basedon the way to the conclusion of the investigation and the role of design topics and significance;Second part is the collection of literature now bamboo product development and the third part ofthe way to design innovation bamboo product and revelation design process describes theguiding role of the design; creativity and planning programs, plans, processes, records, etc.;fourth section summarizes looking to the future.
