Modern Pigskin Garment Leather Processing Variation Of The Basic Parameters

This project is based on studying the setting of beam house, tanning process, wetdyeing and finishing process parameters in pigskin garment leather making process,analyzing the effect of different materials and treating method on the final leatherparameters. After that the relationship between the changes of processes parametersare discussed. As the results shows:(1) The effect of two degreasing methods on the shrink temperature(Ts) is similar,but the effect on area is related to the part, the combination method cause large areaincrease in the shoulder part, while the saponification method cause large area increasein back and hip parts. Also the combination method cause more leather weight andthickness increase than saponification method.(2) Different unhairing methods have different effect on the parameters of hidesand skins, all three method lead the decrease in Ts, and in terms of degree lime+Na2S> Na2S+lime and Na2S. Na2S method cause the most increase in leather thickness,while Na2S+lime method increase the weight of leather most, and in terms of areashrink Na2S+lime> lime+Na2S> Na2S.(3) Both deliming methods lead to the raising of Ts and area increase, whereNH4Cl+HCl>(NH4)2SO4+H2SO4. And they also decrease the thickness and weight ofleather, where (NH4)2SO4+H2SO4> NH4Cl+HCl.(4) Chrome+chrome tannins retanning make the thickness of leather increase andin terms of degree; they are better than melamine (L). Melamine (L) leads to theincrease of parts difference, while chrome+chrome tannins decrease it. Both methodsincrease the leather area with the same amount.(5) Different filling material have different effect, in terms of degree: tanninextract> melamine (P)> carboxy vinyl polymer. Melamine (P) increases the partsdifference, while tannin extract decrease it. Melamine (P) increases more weight thantannin extract, while carboxy vinyl polymer decreases it. All three methods causeshrink in leather area, which is tannin extract> carboxy vinyl polymer> melamine (P).(6) Different process parameters have different relationship in changing rules.During beam house process and tanning process, the change in leather thickness andweight are same, while the change of thickness and area of wet dyeing and finishingprocess stay in the same.
