The Study Of Gasoline And Diesel Quality And Its Improvement Methods For SINOPEC Anqing Company

With the fast development of the automobile industry and the more and morestrict demand of environment protection, worldwide governments have promulgatedstricter tail gas discharge regulations which demand the outomobile industry to adoptnew emission control technology. That technology needs higher and higher standardof fuels. In this article, the present situation and the existing problems of gasoline anddiesel quality for SINOPEC Anqing Company are discussed. Comparing to thenational gasoline and diesel quality standards, challenges of quality upgrading forSINOPEC Anqing Company after2012are pointed out. Considering the existingstructure of the refinery units, new VRDS, DHS, CCR,Szorb need to be constructedto revamp the refinery.After finishing the revamp, the sulfur and benzene content ingasoline and the sulfur content in diesel will be reduced significantly, the octanenumber of gasoline and the centane number of diesel will be increased. The gasolinequality can meet the demand of national standard Ⅳnow and Ⅴin the future, part ofautobile diesel can meet the national standard Ⅳ.
