A comprehensive review for the technologies and kinetic development of fluid catalytic cracking(FCC)gasoline upgrading was done.Based on catalytic hydrogenation mechanism of M and DSO processes and composition of FCC gasoline,heavy fraction of FCC gasoline was lumped into aromatic hydrocarbon.olefin,naphthene,isoparaffin and n-paraffin in the aspect of hydrocarbon for M and DSO stages respectively.In addition,the sulfides in heavy FCC gasoline were lumped into mercaptan+thioether,alkylthrophene,benzothiophene,H2S in the aspect of desulfurization for M and DSO stages respectively.The reaction networks for the hydrocarbon lumps and the sulfide lumps were set up respectively.The kinetic model equations were determined.Kinetic parameters of M and DSO processes were calculated by Runge-kutta method and genetic algorithm with MATLAB platform using experimental data from a small-scale tubular fixed bed reactor.Kinetic results indicate that the M-DSO process is better than the DSO-M process in FCC gasoline upgrading.The kinetic parameters are consistent with hydro-desulfurization reaction rules.It shows that the models for M-DSO process has good extrapolation and reliability,which lays a good foundation for further simulation and optimization for M-DSO process.
