Parts surface can get corrosion, abrasion and a series of performance through laser cladding, and it can also be applied to the repair of the damaged parts. Therefore, the laser cladding (repair) process has a very broad application prospects.At present, literature for titanium alloy laser cladding (repair) process rarely elaborated, many companies and institutions do some research depending on their own situation. In this paper, the technology of laser cladding on titanium is based on the trial which chosen by analyzing the impact of process parameters on the quality of the cladding layer, and provide a theoretical basis and technical support for the enterprise’s production.The titanium heat exchanger has thin wall, high heat transfer efficiency and light in weight, so it is widely applied to the heat exchanger vessel which operating under special medium conditions. Tube sheet welding is the key points in the process of the titanium heat exchanger’s manufacture. Because of the multi-quantity and high quality of the welding joint, automatic TIG welding is widespread used in the tube sheet’s welding process.This paper mainly research on TA2’s welding, against the characteristics of this material’s weldability, under the existing welding methods and equipment, conduct automatic TIG welding reseach on the tube sheet, then come to the process measures and welding parameters which ensure the welding quality, at last complete the technical reserves on welding of the titanium heat exchanger.
