There are certain contacts between contact stiffness, contact damping and elastic floating in the grinding process parameters. To study this relationship, we must first know the elastic floating processing technology parameters of the grinding process. Elastic floating grinding surface morphology of the diamond are mainly affected by the impact in the manufacturing process of the influence of vibration. The impact vibration mainly comes from internal structure of grinding machine and machining process parameters. In order to reduce costs do not improve the accuracy of mechanical system and to improve the manufacturing system, we must begin with the process parameters. In the process of research process parameters, elastic floating contact exists load between the grinding head grinding disk, the load exist in two forms of contact stiffness and contact damping.The way of diamond processing is elastic floating grinding. The grinding plate is installed on an elastic mat; diamond is fixed on an elastic beam clamp, both through a coupling relationship works on implementation of diamond processing. The coupling process of diamond and elastic beam processing is a kind of contact, contact stiffness and contact damping is in this contact processing. Based on the research of diamond processing technology in the processing, parameters and the relationship between the contact stiffness and contact damping was discussed first. Elastic floating of diamond grinding coupling model is set up. Model is established by using Matlab/Simulink simulation software. Using the results of the simulation model and the contact stiffness and contact damping, in different processing conditions, we do the contact stiffness and contact damping experiment, explore the damping and the relationship between process parameters and the contact, then explore the optimal processing technological parameters.First, in this paper the basic principle of elastic floating grinding process is analyzed, analysis of second order coupling model, and the mechanism of diamond taken placed in the process of elastic floating grinding. Based on the vibration model of vibration on the mechanical analysis, then three processing parameters on the process were analyzed.Then according to the grinding speed, the length of the elastic beam, grinding pressure changes, the analysis in the simulation model under various process parameters to fit the values of contact stiffness and damping contacts under different processing parameters.Finally, the contact stiffness and damping values contacted by solving simulation model analysis process parameters in turn, use the results of the simulation model the optimal processing parameters, namely the use of the experimental results in the elastic floating diamond abrasive grinding, observe processing out the final surface quality diamond simulation results verify the correctness.Secondly, the establishment of elastic floating grinding system in Matlab/Simulink model, physical model of the model established by the modeling process, based on the physical model of mathematical model, using results of both the model and the simulation find out their relationship.Then, according to the grinding speed, the length of the elastic beam, the change of the grinding pressure, the contact stiffness and contact damping values are computed in the simplified model of the simulation analysis under various process parameters in the model under different processing parameters.Finally, through elastic floating of grinding main-part to research contact stiffness. It is concluded that the grinding pressure, the stiffness of elastic beams, the relationship between grinding speed and the contact stiffness, by comparing the various influence factors of contact stiffness values, diamond grinding experiment, using25diamond grinding results to find the optimal set of diamond surface topography, and the corresponding processing parameters, obtained in choosing the length of the elastic beam is about180mm, the grinding pressure is about30g, spindle speed control in180RPM, the diamond surface quality in the form of the ideal.
