Burnt-out printing is made by removing or dissolving some local portion of fiber material in the blending fabric, and then the fabric part and motifs showed great transparent and3-demensional effect. Since the burnt-out technology appeared in the1970s, most companies and researchers paid attention on the improvement of dissolve solvent, post-processing technique and equipment. But few types of fabric are used to do the burnt-out printing, most of which are polyester/cotton fabric, polyester/viscose, polyester/flax, etc. Besides, the absenting of standard measuring burnt-out printing result is another defect of burnt-out printing technique. For a long time, most researchers judge the burnt-out printing result through observing the color of dried fabric visually. There is no system testing method, machine or index to characterize the effect of burnt-out printing precisely. Copper ions fabric has the function of antibacterial, deodorization and self-cleaning, which can not only prevent the bacteria destroying fabric, but also stop the spreading of bacteria. In this way, people’s requirement of comfortable and healthy has been satisfied. Through researching burnt-out printing technique on copper ion fabric (blending ratio: copper icons/tencel/viscose=40/20/20). The type of burnt-out printing fabric expands and achieves the breakthrough turning traditional fabric to innovational one. At the same time, through combining burnt-out printing technique and new technology, the copper ion fabric has been endued function and aesthetic simultaneously. At the beginning of researching burnt-out printing technique on copper ions fabric, understanding the principal of burnt-out printing, the whole process, the function and proportion of every reagents, the key and difficulty points is needed. Besides, in order to ultimate the parameter of printing technique and choose appropriate temperature, time and proportion of chemistry, researching the crystallinity, orientation and heat resistance of every portion of fiber made of the copper ion fabric is essential. Orthogonal experiment of three levels and four factors is used to analyze the proper burnt-out printing technique. According to the actual equipment situation of factory and operational feasibility, the squeegee time and baking conditions are settled to be the invariant parameter, scraping for two times, baking condition:130℃,7min. The water, NaHSO4, glycerol and penetrating agent are settled to be the orthogonal factors. By trying different range of experimental parameters, the final experiment scheme is settled. The proportion of every factor is settled as follows: NaHSO4:15%,25%,30%; glycerol:4%,8%,12%; penetrating agent:4%,7%,10%; water:12%,20%,27%. In order to quantify the effect of burnt-out fabric, a series of tests are taken, including testing the weight of fabric before and after burnt-out printing, rating visual grade, testing air permeability, testing fabric bursting strength, testing penetration situation, weighing and calculating the difference between actual weight and theoretical weight. Finally, the visual analysis method of orthogonal experiment is carried on to analyze the testing results. The analysis method of comprehensive balance is taken to obtain the appropriate printing technique. Various factors have been taken into consideration comprehensively. The result shows that, the proper burnt-out printing technique of copper ions fabric is30%of NaHSO4,8%of glycerol,7%of penetrating agent and27%of water. The baking condition:130℃,7min. scraping condition: two times back and forth. Furthermore, verification experiment and corresponding testing have been carried on in order to prove the rationality of burnt-out printing technique. All of the testing results show that every index to indicate the effect of burnt-out printing fabric is very good. So the obtained result can be used as the best burnt-out printing technique of copper ion fabric.
