As an important mechanical property of a fiber, fiber modulus is its resistance to physical deformation. Accurate testing and calculating fiber modulus is a basic requirement for evaluation of the mechanical properties of the fibers.High modulus fibers such as carbon, glass, basalt, aramid fibers typically have high strength and modulus, but very low failure elongation. So for high strength and low elongation fibers, testing, elongation factors accounted for a variety of errors arising out of the actual test elongation ratio may be high, seriously affecting the accuracy of the test results, therefore, study the entire test system factors impact on test monofilam modulus and elongation at break on meaningful. In this paper, the use of single fiber tensile strength tester, tensile test strength high modulus fibers, elongation, modulus during the experiment, it may have an impact on the results of the testing process factors such as tensile speed, fixed fiber the card types, the type of adhesive glue separate analysis and research. Using mathematical models of linear regression to find these factors on the size of the specific impact of systematic errors, and test results were corrected. Then the nominal parameters compared with fiber, verify and correct analysis is meaningful, as amended close to the nominal parameters of the fiber than the previous amendment. This paper studies the deformation and fiber deformation assumption that the system is elastically deformed, and assuming the overall deformation and gauge proportional to these two conditions, a systematic analysis of the experimental process of stretching speed, adhesive glue, cardboard and other effects of the fracture strength factor, and the experimental data were analyzed, the final results of a more complete high modulus fiber modulus testing methods. For future tests to reduce errors summed up the experience.
