The concept of light conversion agent comes from agricultural science.Light conversion agent could absorb ultraviolet light and emitted visible light which is beneficial to plant growth. Accordingly the mechanism of energy conversion, light conversion materials could be applied in textile which convert absorbed harmful UV energy into customized narrow bands of therapeutic light-for treatment of the skin’s medical and cosmetic conditions.This article is divided into three parts to research..The first part is about light conversion performance study of polyester fabric dyeing by disperse fluorescent dye. Test the fluorescence of dyed polyester fabric and discuss the influence of dye concentration on the fluorescence property. Focus on of the relationship of dye concentration and fluorescence excitation and emission wavelength and fluorescence intensity. Then discuss the fluorescence property of fluorescent whitening agent effect on polyester fabric dyeing by disperse fluorescent dye.The second part is about coating finishing fabric by light conversion agent, including fluorescent pigment, rare earth organic complexes and Rhodamine B.Discuss feasibility of coating finishing including the selection of adhesives used in coating, the conditions of coating process and the light conversion material concentration in the medium effect on the performance of fluorescence, which provides research basis for later inquiry.The third part is the preparation of light conversion textile by coating. Choosing two light conversion material coating on the fabric, improve absorbing ultraviolet light and emiting visible light by means of the light energy transfer between materials.This part study several factors,the mass ratio of fluorescent materials, the material concentration in the medium and curing temperature and time effect on the fluorescence performance of coating finishing fabric.Through the above analysis and research we can draw a conclusion.First,fluorescent whitening agent can promote fluorescence of disperse fluorescent dyeing polyester fabric and improve absorbing ultraviolet light. Second, with rare earth complexes and organic fluorescent yellow pigment, light conversion fabric was prepared to absorb ultraviolet light and emit505nm blue light. Third, with organic fluorescent yellow pigment and Rhodamine B,light conversion fabric was prepared to absorb ultraviolet light and low band visible light and emit590nm yellow light.
