The paper mainly focused on the issue that the new method to increase the production ofhigh-gas low-permeability coal seam gas well, and the new method to design the process ofdesign, in the form of software simulation to put forward the means of simulation.The method to pretreat coal bed gas using petroleum perforating bullet before exploitingit was presented in this paper. The feasibitity of the method presented was analysised byoccurrence and flow theory of gas in coal seam, the advanced process theory for increasingthe production of coal bed gas, the comparison between coal bed gas geology theory andpetroleum geology theory, explosion-proof theory and perforating bullet craft. Thensimulation analysis of the process which used perforating bullet to penetrate the coal seam byALE algorithm was conducted through the ANSYS/LS-DYNA3D nonlinear finite elementsoftware. Respectively from the aspects of pressure, temperature, the effective plastic strain incharge to deal with the effect of the coal seam is analyzed.The results showed that perforatingbullet had better penetration effect when used in coal seam than oilfield. The coal seam stresssignificantly reduced through perforating bullet treatment. A lot of new pores which weremeaningful for coal bed gas analysis appeared in the coal seam. Finally based on thesimulation results, the charge in the pretreatment of coal technology for process design, andprobes into the related process feasibility analysis.The paper proved from the theoretical level that the method to increase production byusing perforating bullet to pretreat the coal seam was feasible and it can play a practical roleon increasing the production of coal seam gas well and coalmine safe production.Andprovides a complete, the system use the charge in the pretreatment of coal technology.
