Hole drilling is one of the important processing methods in machining. And among allthe hole drilling, deep-hole drilling is the most. Along with the drilling, dynamiccharacteristics of workpiece are changing during deep-hole drilling. To understand the trendof dynamic characteristics of workpiece and the effects of different cutting parameters on thedynamic characteristics in practice is helpful to reduce the machining vibration, and improvethe quality of machining. This paper, which put the deep-hole drilling of the workpiece as theresearch object, has studied on the changing rule of the dynamic characteristics of theworkpiece, and the effects of cutting parameters on the vibration during the manufacturingprocess. The main research contents and results of the paper:1. On the basis of the non-uniform beams theory, the paper has studied on the dynamicbehavior of the fixed workpiece in the way of tool rotating velocity processing, and reacheddynamic characteristics of workpiece in different processing stages.2. Verified the exactness of the theoretical calculation of fixed workpiece through thefinite element simulation, and the results showed that the theoretical calculation and thesimulation results had good consistency.3. On the basis of Rayleigh beam theory, the paper has studied on the dynamic behaviorof the rotary workpiece in the way of tool rotating velocity processing, and concluded theinfluence rule of dynamic responses of cutting parameters on the workpiece.4. Using simulation experiment to verify the accuracy of the theoretical calculation of therotary workpiece, which turned out that the theoretical calculation can forecast the dynamic change trend of artifacts in practice.
