There are three processes in the high pressure FRP pipes production system,including winding, curing and extraction. The quality of product is closelyrelated to the control method and selected process during the winding and curing.The local automation level is already high in the control system. However, thereis lack of information exchange between the various departments and units in theenterprise. In the other word, the information can not be shared together inseveral fields of automation. The purpose in this paper is to develop themanagement and control integration system of FRP pipe production line based onthe network database. A LAN is formed by the winding control system, curingcontrol system and office terminal PC to realize the monitoring and managementof the internal curing control system of the winding machine.The function requirement of the management and control integration isanalyzed in this paper. Combining with the characteristics of the networkmonitoring, the agreement based on TCP/IP is completed and the managementand control integration system of FRP pipe production line taking SQL server2000database as management core is designed. The management and controlintegration system design is showed on two hands in this paper: the one hand isdesigning the internal curing control system regarding IPC, temperature controltable and PLC as the master structure and regarding the temperature control tableas control core; on the other hand is designing the database and establishing thedata table. The database data process interface is implanted in the winding andcuring procedures to realize the network functions in the winding control systemand curing control system.The developed curing system in this paper is Eurotherm2408temperaturecontrol table based on the automatically adjustment PID. The heated mandrel iscontrolled by applying the Eurotherm2408temperature control table. The cooling and sweeping process is controlled by applying PLC. Finally, the curingprocess is completed. Control system host computer program is compiled byadopting VC++6.0. The designed database management and control systemincludes the management for the staff, production equipment and productioninformation. Taking SQL server2000as Data server and taking the industrialEthernet as emphasis. By dealing with the network information of each pipeline,the specified winding and curing process can be downloaded at side or terminalinside the Ethernet. The data and alarm information during the production can bestored in the database in real time. The database can be accessed by the Adointerface of VC++6.0at the production site or by the office client based on the Cprogram.The designed management and control integration system based on the SQLserver2000database can improve the production efficiency, share the data, assistthe senior management decision, regulate the workers’ operation and track theproduction process effectively.
