Titanium silicate-1(TS-1) molecular sieves have been attracted much attention owing to their excellent performance in the selective oxidation of organic compounds with H2O2aqueous solution under mild conditions. However, the intricate micropores of the zeolites are not efficient on the diffusion of bulk reactants and products.TS-1has high cost and separation issues which prevent its wide use in industry.This paper focused on reducingthe synthesis costs of TS-1zeolite, improving the catalytic performance andsynthesizing the catalyst available to the industrial application.Through the effects of preparation conditions, such as the crystallization time, amount of titanium source, amount of templates, alkali source and so on, on the physicochemical properties and catalytic performance of TS-1zeolite were investigated, the optimized synthesis conditions of TS-1zeolite have been obtained; the monolithic TS-1catalysts more available to the industrial application was prepared exploratively. Prepared TS-1samples were characterized by XRD, FI-IR, SEM and other analytical test methods, and their catalytic performances for the ammoximation of methylethyl ketone with H2O2were rested in the intermittent or fixed-bed reactor. The results show that, the hierarchical TS-1zeolite can be prepared by one-step the steam-assisted dry gel conversion method with a single template TPAOH; Cheap choline was used in the preparing TS-1solution instead of a part of TPAOH, and plays a role in keeping the alkali concentration in the synthesis sol, resulting in the effective reduction in the synthesis cost of TS-1; The prefroming TS-1samples are teated in fixed-bed reactor when after reaction for36h the conversion of butanone remained90%above and the selectivity of butanone oxime was over99%; Using steam-assisted dry gel conversion method to synthsize monolithic TS-1zeolite on the cordierite support can control the TS-1loading, and TS-1zeolite grows on support tightly. From the operability, steam-assisted dry gel conversion method is an ideal way to synthsize monolithic TS-1zeolite.
