The research on luggages mainly focused on design、structure design, study on fabricstructure and performance of luggages are few. Especially during the process of productdesign, with the popularity of the green environmental protection consciousness, the use offabrics are increasingly common, how to combine the specifications and performanceinformation of fabric with appearance effects of fabrics using on luggages, then realize theinformatization is worth to explore and research.Based on the classification of goods material and application, this paper describes thecurrent classification of the luggage at home and abroad. Luggage samples are collectedaccording to the market and the manufacturers, and luggage classification index isestablished by style,design, material, brand, style and functionality.In this paper, thespecifications and performance indicators of100piece of luggage woven fabrics fromenterprise were tested, meanwhile the distribution of specification parameters andperformance indicators on different material is analyzed. Four main factors are finallyobtained using SPSS software analyze the related performance indicators of fabrics,respectively is stretching anti-wrinkle factor, stretching factor, stretching wear resistantfactor and wear resistance factor; Based on the four factors, evaluation of the overallperformance analysis and rank are done to determine the merits of performance for56piece of uni-material fabric. The woven fabrics database on luggages is estated combiningthe classification of luggages fabric with the structural parameters and performance index.With Mysql database as the backend, using the tomcat server and eclipse developmenttools, and applying Java language to build the database.Through a lot of written procedures to realize all the function of system framework and module design, including the user logininterface,luggages information module and fabric information module, etc. User logininterface can ensure the safety of system login, luggages and fabric information modulealso increases the function of add, delete, modify, etc,which will facilitate the subsequentdevelopment and utilization of database. Using MAYA software and importing luggagestyles and selected fabrics to dynamic simulate luggages in the form of three-dimensional.It is conducive to formate a more intuitive understanding to the combined effect of luggagestyle and fabrics, and achieve the preliminary digital and informatization of luggage’sdesign and develop.
