As a major carriers long-distance oil and gas pipelines transport oil and gas,Itssecurity is the precondition to ensure efficient transport and make full use of oil or naturalgas.However, oil and gas pipeline leaks and break accidents are increasing year byyear,Not only waste resources and pollute the environment but also bring huge economiclosses.According to statistics, the pipeline failure caused by corrosion of the pipeline is oneof the main factors that pipeline accidents.Determine the effects of corrosion defectsultimate bearing capacity of the pipeline,For in-service pipeline safety assessment,Pipelinein order to ensure safe operational service period.This article describes the present situation of the development pipeline defectassessment And the significance of this research,Details of the pipeline defect assessmentbasis,The influence of the concept and pipeline corrosion defects and cracks on themechanical properties of oil and gas pipelines,Describes the most commonly usedinternational pipeline corrosion evaluation criteria--ASME B31G evaluation criteria andAPI579evaluation criteria.Application of ANSYS finite element simulation software toestablish a good pipe model and Direction defective pipe model and Round defective pipemodel.Obtained simulation pipeline corrosion defects maximum stress values.Comparisonof different corrosion defects under maximum stress values of the parameters and run thepipeline pressure, According to the calculated maximum stress values obtained corrosiveinfluence of ultimate bearing capacity of the pipeline.Based on the intensity of distortionenergy criterion (Mises strength criterion) algorithm for solving the ultimate bearingcapacity intact pressure pipelines.Using ANSYS finite element simulation software forultimate capacity to analyze intact pipeline verification.To corrode pipes for thestudy,Finite element model of the pipeline, such as the depth of the square defect and acircular defect finite element model of the pipeline.Analysis of the corrosion defects ofdifferent geometries,Come to corrosion length, depth and width (corrosion radius) to stressthe influence of defects in pipes and other; Pipeline operating pressure of stress, such as the influence of defects in the pipe;Corrosion defect geometry, the influence of the pipelineoperating pressure of the pipeline corrosion defects residual strength.
