Five-axis CNC machine tool as the key technology for modern manufacturingequipment used in precision machining of complex surface parts, its precision and skilllevels at some point, decided the current industry standard.Five-axis CNC machine toolsfor machining of high precision, high reliability, flexibility and other advantages, in theaerospace, marine, medical, military and other sophisticated modern manufacturing hasmade significant achievements in the field, has been recognized by the majority of users,and bedding for the manufacturer for further study.Testing, calibration and errorcompensation of CNC machine tools technical studies, on the accuracy of machine tools togreatly help have some research value, is the important way to improve the accuracy ofmachine tools and machining ability and tools.Traditional detection methods are manual testing and offline testing. Manual testing toolfrequently used are dial indicator, micrometers, calipers and other conventionalmeasurement tools.To a extent,these measuring tools decisions of this detection method isinefficient, lengthy, poor accuracy, but they also take up a lot of human resources, greatlyrestricting the verification of the accuracy and efficiency of CNC machine tools.For5-axisCNC machines, traditional calibration methods are generally used for detection ofgeometric precision of the linear axis, it is difficult to achieve the precision measurementof Rotary and swinging axes.This paper analyzes the causes of errors of CNC machine tools, examined the sources oferror, the errors were classified, described foreign and domestic CNC machine tool errormodeling and error detection technology research.Renishaw Laser Interferometer XL-80for a5-axis CNC machine tool precision detection,testing and analysis the parts of machinetool linear axis geometric accuracy the test results in line with national standards.Papersfocusing on a trigger-probe testing, calibration tool Rotary shaft and swing theories andmethods, based on Heidenhain (HEIDENHAIN) TS640probe swing wavering on a5-axisCNC machine tool spindle rotary table rotation error and error verification method of mathematical model for theoretical analysis, establishment error analysis of thecorresponding model.
