As people pay more attention to environmental protection and ecological security, riverhas become the one of key area of ecological protection and utilization of resources. As a riverof Urban-Rural Transition belt, a series of problems of rapid expansion of land resource andcity competition will be fierce to increase, the area of habitat fragmentation stormwater drainability is insufficient, water circulation mechanism will be blocked. Landscape planning shoudcome up with solutions to these problems.According to the current situation of Baima River site, this article sort out and summarizedthe current situation of problems. There are two main problems to be solved;1)to protect andrepair the problems of river habitat.2) city rainwater runoff pollution and emissions caused bythe change of city underlying surface coverage. In this study, the two prominent problems, as astarting point, puts forward the goal of two transformations. And, discusses about the riverhabitat restoration and rainwater utilization theory and techniques. Through the analysis of thestatus have shaped the feasible measures of river landscape transformation. The planning and design work of the Baima River Waterfront landscape is based on theresearch above and its own characteristics. Relevant technical improvement measures inphysical habitat and biological habitat modification were put forword in this artical. This studyalso calculated the protencial rain garden design area according to the catchment area, putforward the engineering measures and biological measures of rain garden construction. The river habitat restoration and rainwater garden construction practice in this artical wasbased on the theoretical results above and the existing situation of Baima River. Finally, thisstudy attempts to offer some practice experience and lessons drawn on the advantages anddisadvantages of the multi-objective river reconstruction project.
