Preliminary study found that the oxygen diluted partially premixed/oxygen enrichedsupplemental combustion can well control the temperature of the main flame zone by adjusting theC/O concentration ratio, enhance the stability of the flame, effectively suppress the generation ofpollutants, such as CO and NO_x, and improve the combustion efficiency of fuel, finally achieve theprocess of clean and efficient combustion.The flat flame is the best model to study two-dimensional flame. So in order to generatetwo-dimensional flat laminar flame and study its mechanism, this article firstly designed a seriesof experimental system for ODPP/OESC.Secondly, calculated the adiabatic flame temperature and flame propagation velocity of thepower flame zone, and compared the results of ODPP/OESC with the diffused combustion andthe combustion process of air partially premixed. The results showed that the ODPP/OESC couldreduce the adiabatic flame temperature of the power flame zone and the flame propagation speed,achieve the purpose of reduced the chemical reaction rate.Finally, measured and analyzed the flame structure of ODPP/OESC, flue gas compositionand the flame heat flux by experimental diagnostic device, and compared results of theODPP/OESC with the diffused combustion, air partially premixed and LPC. The results showedthat the reaction zone is elongated and the flame surface is thickened for using the ODPP/OESC,simultaneously it also can control the temperature of the local flame well. Compared with thediffused combustion, LPC, air partially premixed combustion and so on, the ODPP/OESC reducethe pollutant emissions, enhance the exhaust gas temperature and the flame heat flow, andincrease combustion efficiency, achieve the purposes of cleaning and efficient combustion.
