Prestressed high strength concrete pipe has been used broadly in building,highway, railway and port project since the seventies of the twentieth century, due tohigh capacity to bear weight, good pile quality, nice adaptability to all kinds ofcondition and rapidness to construction. The end of prestressed high concrete pipe isjoined with base slab through the core concrete. The moment bearing capacity ofcommon prestressed high concrete pipe pile is relative poor in horizontal earthquakeaction, which limit the range of use of prestressed concrete pipe pile. After the underconstruction residential building collapsed events in Shanghai Lotus, the problem ofthe pipe piles anti horizontal force gradually aroused extensive attention of theengineering sector. Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, Tianjin, issued the local industryregulations of Prestressed high strength concrete Pipe Pile. Reference to the localprocedures surrounding areas in the provinces of Hubei, Jiangsu and Anhui, andacross the central and eastern China, the Tianjin local of DB29-110-2010aboutPrestressed Concrete Piles is more restrictive. Therefore, whether can further expandthe Pile range of applications in Tianjin region need for experimental verification andtheoretical analysis.Eight prestressed high strength concrete pipe piles were tested under lowcyclic loading, The result of failure characteristic, hysteretic characteristic, rigiditydegradation, skeleton curve, bearing capacity, displacement and ductility wasanalyzed. Those effects on hysteretic behavior of prestressed high strength concretepipe piles were analyzed such as the steel fiber and stirrup ratios. The results showthat the hysteretic characteristic of prestressed high strength concrete pipe pilesreinforced by fiber is improved. The bearing capacity of prestressed high strengthconcrete pipe piles reinforced by steel fiber is enhangced. The deformation capacity ofspecimens become big with the increase of stirrup ratio. Based on the test analysis, thisarticle has conducted the research of flexural capacity about Prestressed Concrete Piles,the study show that the local of DB29-110-2010about Prestressed Concrete Piles is safe.And still apply to steel fiber Prestressed Concrete Piles.Cumulative damage model, model can objectively reflect the actual degree ofinjury test components, reliable theoretical basis, the same applies to the evaluatedconfiguration Prestressed Concrete Piles, piles cumulative damage model analysisshow that increasing the stirrup characteristic value can reduce the degree ofcumulative damage of the component.
