With the growing application range and the increasing service time of prestressedhigh strength concrete pipe pile foundation, the research on the durability and safetyproblems of which has aroused attentions gradually. The durability problems ofprestressed high strength concrete pipe pile are discussed, the finite element analysissoftware named MIDAS/GTS is used, and the force characteristics of pipe pilefoundation under earthquake are analyzed. The main contents are as follows:1. The possible durability influence of prestressed high strength concrete pipepile caused by production and construction process is discussed. The durabilityinfluence factors of prestressed high strength concrete pipe pile are analyzed. Thebearing performance deterioration caused by pipe pile foundation corrosion isdiscussed.2. The force characteristics of prestressed high strength concrete pipe pile underearthquake are analyzed with the software named MIDAS/GTS. The influence ofmoment suffered by pipe pile under earthquake is also analyzed, which includes thetrend of moment, the quantity of moment and the scope of large moment. The trendand quantity of moment suffered by pipe pile foundation are compared under thecondition of different seismic waves while same peak acceleration and the conditionof different peak acceleration while same seismic waves. The results of the finiteelement simulation and the results of a shaking table test are compared and analyzed.3. Based on the finite element model, through changing the influence factorswhich include pipe pile elasticity modulus, the surrounded soil elasticity modulus,pipe pile length, pipe pile diameter, pipe pile wall thickness, core concrete length andso on, the influence on the force characteristics of prestressed high strength concretepipe pile under earthquake caused by influence factors changing is analyzed.Combined the bearing performance deterioration caused by pipe pile foundationcorrosion and the influence on anti-seimic property caused by influence factors changing, the suggestion measures of improving pipe pile foundation anti-seimicproperty are proposed.
