With the development of space technology,"space debris" problem has becomemore serious. Countries with space technology have researched a lot of space debrisprotection structures. The latest research direction of the protective structure iscomposed of new material of the better protective properties. This article willreseach the characteristics of basalt fiber woven/aluminium mesh combinationprotective structure under hypervelocity impact. This article optimize the design of four new basalt fiber woven/aluminummesh combination protective structure. In these four potective structures are thesame areal mass.use Diameter of3.97mm,4.76mm of2017aluminum projectile, form hypervelocity impact experiments we can found projectile velocity of2km/s~3km/s the bulkhead was perforation or into a pit, projectile velocity of4km/sbulkhead has no damage. Six layers of aluminum mesh top three layers of basaltfiber woven of Stuffed Whipple Shields is the best. Projectile diameter increases, theweaker the protection capability of the protective structure.
