According to modern electronic technology’s development, electronic productsare constantly updated, also need to constantly update the measuring productionwhich used to analyze product’s performance and find product’s issues. Theoscilloscope is a very important instrument in the measurement. At present,PXI-based high-speed digital storage oscilloscope is a very important direction ofdevelopment of the digital oscilloscope, mainly based on its design and easy toachieve, a PC-based development of its powerful digital signal processing functions.PXI market, high-end PXI’s oscilloscope are occupied by foreign manufacturers,our country’s PXI oscilloscope is relatively late development, the technology is notvery skillful. In order to shorten the gap between domestic PXI’s oscilloscope andabroad, the paper design a oscilloscope with a sampling rate of up to2Gsps,bandwidth of300MHz, resolution8bit, and lay a foundation for later laboratory todevelop high-end products.According to the PXI oscilloscope’s working Principle, the way real-timesampling oscilloscope sampling design can be divided into two parts, hardware andsoftware design. The hardware platform consists of six parts: the control circuit, useFPGA+CPLD architecture, conditioning trigger circuit, acquisition circuits, PCIinterface circuit and memory circuit. The software design includes three aspects:hardware-oriented control system design, FPGA-based functional development,coupled with user-level application design.Hardware-oriented control system is designed for the individual hardwaremodule to achieve the functions of the oscilloscope and coordination, It is mainly toachieve the upper application for conditioning trigger circuit device configuration,the ADC chip configuration, and to achieve the reception of the digital signal,recombinant and storage. FPGA-based functional is used to design PCI interfaceand trigger designment, The PCI interface is based on the needs of our system toachieve their own PCI interface functionality, cost savings than the use ofspecialized PCI interface chip, but also more flexible and can customize the desiredfunction. The trigger design is an important feature of a digital oscilloscopeadvanced analog oscilloscope, we achieve a variety of trigger mode and triggerfunctions.After the completion of the design of PXI high-speed storage oscilloscope, inorder to facilitate debugging, the final test plan is divided into conditioning trigger,the PCI interfaces as well as the ADC chip two modules, which will be designed to function timing devices are widely spaced, convenient debugging board validationwork. Function to achieve full integration into the final plan, we will achieve thedesign goal.
