Integrated avionics system is an important part of modern aircraft. With the development of electronic technology, the open distributed architecture has become the main trend in the development of integrated avionics system. As the core of the system, the control interface module is responsible for the information exchange and information processing with various types of airborne electronic equipment. Its functionality and performance will have an important impact on the integrated avionics system. This dissertation studies and implements an avionics system control interface module, the structure of the module is based on CPU and FPGA.It implements the functions of exchanging data with other peripheral modules by designing various of interface in FPGA.This design meets the requirements of the specific needs of airborne equipment and the openness of modern avionics system. The history and research situation of avionics systems is introduced briefly. The function of the system is described and the data flow within the system is analyzed.By learning the detail of the protocol, the paper proposes control interface design based on FPGA.The dissertation is focus on the implementation of the protocols used in the system on FPGA and use a modular design approach. And it describes in detail the design method of the universal protocols such as PCI UART IIC IIS and the special bus such as ARINC453 and ARINC429.At last,by simulation and testing, the reliability of the FPGA-based interface functions are verified, to achieve the intended function, design objectives are achieved.
