Rail Transportation Energy Efficiency Management

In view of the guidance requirements about building an energy saving society ofour county during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period，the paper discusses the presentsituation of energy consumption of our country’s Rail Transit industry and seeks therelevant energy saving means. The overall research directions include the currentsituation of rail transit’s energy efficiency management, setting out and analyzing thekey elements affecting the energy consumption of rail transit，the means ofmanagement and technology for promoting rail transit’s energy consumption and thecase analysis of energy saving management in rail transit enterprises. From the pointof rail transit’s energetic power efficiency, the paper figures out and analyses thesituation of power utilization in each part of rail transit, chooses some internationalenergy saving methods in common use, and introduces the service conditions of thesemethods in our nation so that it establishes technical and applied foundations for thedevelopment of rail transit industry’s energy saving work.
