Hydraulic drive technology is widely available and play an important role in thenational economy. However, conventional hydraulic drive energy efficiency is verylow. Hydraulic and electronic control can achieve precise control. However, its energyconsumption is still great. The direct-drive-electro-hydraulic drive system is a novelcombination of electro-hydraulic system. Compared with the traditionalelectro-hydraulic servo system has a lot of advantages.Research in the field of direct-drive in the U.S, Europe and Japan has beengoing on for many years, the technology research domestic in this field has just started,have not yet entered into the application stage. It is particularly necessary in-depthstudy in the area. The task of this project is the direct-drive electro-hydraulic drivesystem in-depth study and exploration, and make depth analysis with system forexperimental research and system characteristics.The paper compares and analyzes the working principle of the driveelectro-hydraulic servo valve control system and direct-drive electro-hydraulic drivesystem, study the composition and the advantages and disadvantages. it make a detailedanalysis and establish the mathematical model of the position and pressure of thedirect-drive system,Stability simulation analysis rely on Matlab for system. Factors thataffect the system and actuators are analyzed and compared with the SimulationXsoftware, note that select the appropriate system components to different operateconditions make different performance.The paper design targeted PID and fuzzy adaptive PID controller, with step, rampand sinusoidal test signal for position and pressure systems, analyze the responsecharacteristics and the control performance of the controller. The experiments show thatthe fuzzy adaptive PID can effectively improve the system dynamic stability and fast.It design separated control scheme about pressure and position controlexperiments of the direct-drive electro-hydraulic system based on theory and simulationanalysis, the experimental result drawn from the analysis and the test data: forthe control method and work conditions of conventional electro-hydraulic servo valvesystem, direct drive system can also be used and has a good performance.
