Research On The Walking Space About Regional Culture Landscape Design

Today, traffic congestion, environment and resource destruction become the serious problems. People begin to reflect on urban planning serving cars. They pay more attention to walking traffic which had been ignored in the past. When people find all of cities become like each other, they hope to solve the trouble by developing the regional culture that city’s own. In the past, walking space (traditional streets) is the skeleton of urban spatial structure. In modern times, it’s still related to people’s life. The walking space in mountain city show the local characteristics extremely by the special environment. With the development of the city, there are a large amount of historical heritage and cultural symbol in the walking space. They and the city life that formed for a long time constitute the regional features of the walking space in mountain city together.This article starts with the reflection of public transportation and the convergence of urban style and features. It carries on the method on landscape shaping research of space regional culture in mountain city under the background of ’mountain trails’ built in Chongqing, to hope through the characteristics of walking space, to create outstanding distinctive style and features of urban landscape, to guide citizens to use green and healthy way to travel, to alleviate urban traffic jam, to get win-win situation of urban development and cultural inheritance.Body content of this paper is divided into four parts. The first part of the first chapter of the thesis, mainly deal with the problem of "why". It’s preparing section for the theory and technical methods. This part clarifies the research object and the purpose, and also introduces the present situation of related research at home and abroad. It puts forward the research methods and research framework. The second part is the thesis including chapter2and chapter3. It’s the basic research part. The second chapter mainly has a cognition to the regional culture, cultural landscape. It provides the theory basis for later study. Another important content in this chapter is to clear that cultural landscape play an important role in shaping a characteristic city image. It further interprets the meaning of the research in this paper. The third chapter is analyzed the material and nonmaterial cultural landscape cultural landscape in Mountain city’s walking space. It summarizes and analyzes the characteristics of walking space and human activities in mountain city to provide theoretical support for researching on designing method. The third part is chapter four. It’s the theoretical construction part. Based on the research in the preamble, it puts forward the design principles of cultural landscape, and the different design methods for material culture landscape environment and the human activities space. The last part chooses "mountain trails" for example to confirm the feasibility on the research in the preamble.
