Traditional Cultural Landscape Design Based On The Characteristics Of Taoist Temples In The Mountain Region

Religious culture is an important part of the splendid culture of the Chinese nation,and the religious garden is one of the three branches of Chinese classical gardens and is an attractive one.As the native religion of China,Taoism has been developing for more than 1,800 years in the long history of China.And Taoist culture with Chinese local characteristics has become an indispensable part of China’s rich cultural stream.The research on the main carrier of Taoist culture——Taoist temple and garden environment,especially the research on mountain Taoist temple garden environment which complements the original meaning of Taoism,whether the natural view of Taoist philosophy or the theory and technique of traditional Taoist garden environment construction in them,all can provide valuable historical experience and reference significance for the shaping of contemporary traditional cultural landscape.This paper takes the environmental characteristics of mountain landscape of Taoist temple as the research perspective,starts from Taoist culture and its origin,and takes many traditional mountain landscape of Taoist temple in China as research examples.On the basis of analyzing and summarizing the layout theory,courtyard environment and spatial construction methods of natural environment of mountain landscape of Taoist temple,this paper analyzes and summarizes the construction of cultural landscape,especially for the construction of traditional mountain cultural landscape which take the religious culture as specialty and the mountain as the basic of the natural environment.Firstly,the base idea of traditional mountain cultural landscape can be greatly inspired by Taoist ecological aesthetics.The "Inaction" and the "unity of man and nature" are the magic weapons for contemporary cultural landscape to maintain a higher vitality.Secondly,from the perspective of cultural landscape layout,the scientific view of site selection which adhere to the geographical environment factors and Taoist culture essence,inspired by the linear Taoist Temple community layout of " The Pilgrim’s Progress " and the overall network Taoist Temple community layout of " the fairyland",constructs a three-dimensional community pattern highlighting the cultural context and a landscape unit layout of "There is no fixed pattern and law in garden construction";thirdly,it is necessary to be good at using the courtyard landscape constructors of "win more with less " and "ingenious borrowing" to create the simple and natural cultural landscape with profound connotation,and the garden philosophy of Taoist temple garden is applied to the real space scene;fourthly,the rhythm of the whole garden space arrangement is mastered by controlling the repetitive rhythm of the "space unit",and the essence of the space sequence of traditional Taoist Garden is blended in the rhythm of gradual change and mutation,lengthening and shortening.Through the above discussion,this paper wants to provide reference value for the construction of contemporary traditional mountain culture landscape construction.
