| With the vigorous development of the high-rise buildings in China, the relatedproblems about high-rise building under wind loads is becoming more and moreimportant in structure design. Scholars at home and abroad have undertaken extensiveresearch for high-rise building wind loads and wind-induced response. Structural windengineering theory is maturing. The wind tunnel laboratory is gradually on the risearound the world. At the same time, numerical wind tunnel experiment and discussionare carried out in large quantities. So far, from the large amounts of data at home andabroad, we can be informed part of answer about the nature of wind characteristics, building wind load characteristics and wind-induced response. However, it isnoteworthy that the current study for high-rise buildings are in the service constituteswind load characteristics. Investigations of the high-rise building wind load duringconstruction period are almost blank. There are a large number of holes on suchbuildings’ surfaces, due to the windows and curtain walls have not yet been installed orpartially installed. And that is a clear distinction between high-rise buildings during theconstruction and high-rise buildings in service.Although there had been researchesabout the influence of holes to wind pressure characteristics of high-rise building, thereis a significant difference between holes involved in the researches and holes during theconstruction period. Therefore, in order to study the characteristics of high-rise buildingsurface wind pressure during the construction, this paper carried out the following work:(1)A scheme for field measurements is designed and carried out, according to thecharacteristics of the high-rise building during construction period. Wind speed anddirection and building surface wind pressure are measured, therefore pressure data ofthe various locations of such building are obtained and then analyzed.(2)Based on the obtained wind samples with slow wind speed and high turbulenceintensity, fluctuation wind speed spectrum of tested field is obtained. A comparativestudy of obtained wind speed spectrum and the commonly used wind speed spectrums.(3)Based on the analysis of obtained pressure data, the differences of wind pressurebetween high-rise building during construction period and in service are researched.(4) Based on the CFD technology, numerical simulation of three models forbuilding during construction period and in service is carried out. A comparative study ofsuch three buildings’ wind pressure is carried out and the influence of holes to wind pressure characteristics is analyzed.(5) According to the numerical simulation results and measured data, the fact thatholes because of construction will cause local increase of buildings’ wind pressure isconfirmed.Besids; the data from field measurements suggests that pressure coefficientsof areas near the holes will significantly increase in the smaller wind speed theinstability of wind fields. |
