With the intensification of water pollution and the improvement of drinking waterquality standards, conventional treatment process is increasingly unable to meet therequirements of the drinking water quality. Drinking water advanced treatment processis increasingly concerned. Ozone and activated carbon is an important means fordrinking water advanced treatment process. The application of foreign has been moremature. Because of vast and changing water quality in china, there will be manyproblems in the technical operation of the ozone and activated carbon, such as whetherdosing ozone in front of the activated carbon, the determination of the ozone dosage andozone dosing method. The thesis takes the raw water of upper reaches of the YangtzeRiver as research object, In order to improve effluent quality and provide reference datafor the practical application of ozone and activated carbon in the upper reaches of theYangtze River raw water, the water purification effect of the pre-treatment process andozone and activated carbon depth treatment process were studied. The impacts of powdered activated carbon adsorption, the pre-oxidation ofpotassium permanganate and ozone on conventional treatment process were studied byjar test. The results showed that the three types of pre-treatment process cansignificantly improve the removal effect of organic matter in the conventional treatment, but has little effect on turbidity removal. The removal rates of CODMn、UV254inconventional treatment were24.87%、19.48%. When powdered activated carbon dosageis20mg/L, potassium permanganate dosage is2mg/L and ozone dosage is1mg/L inthe pretreatment process, the removal rates of CODMnrespectively increased to34.71%、31.18%and28.81%, the removal rates of UV254respectively increased to34.31%、27.50%and30.06%in the precipitated water. The ozone activated carbon and activated carbon advanced treatment technologyare used on filtered water by pilot scale test. The results showed that the two types ofadvanced treatment process can effectively remove organic matter, and the ozoneactivated carbon can play a better role on the removal of organic matter, the optimaldosage of ozone is2.0mg/L. When the ozone dosage is2mg/L, the CODMnaverageconcentration is0.626mg/L, the UV254average concentration is0.113cm-1in theeffluent. Compared with filtered water, the removal rates of CODMn、UV254increase by27.49%,48.63%. After adsorbed by activated carbon column, the removal rates of CODMn, UV254of filtered water increase by20.10%、42.95%.The test simulated phenol polluttion of the Yangtze River raw water, the removaleffect of phenol micro-pollutants by pretreatment process and advanced treatmentprocess were investigated。The result showed that three types of pre-treatment processcan improve the removal effect of phenol in the conventional treatment. Theimprovement of ozonation is the most obvious. When the pre-ozone dosage is1.0mg/L,the phenol removal rate is56.20%. The phenol concentration of the effluent byconventional treatment process and activated carbon and ozone-Activated CarbonProcess can meet the effluent quality standards when the phenol concentration of theraw water is0.01mg/L, the phenol concentration of the effluent by ozone-ActivatedCarbon Process can meet the effluent quality standards when the phenol concentrationof the raw water is0.05mg/L.According to Yangtze River raw water quality characteristics, the optimal ozonedosage is1.0mg/L in the ozone pretreatment process, the optimal ozone dosage is2.00mg/L in Ozone-Activated Carbon Treatment. When using in combination ofozone-GAC, ozonation, activated carbon adsorption and biological degradation workjointly to achieve the effect of water purification.
