It pays more and more attention on comfort of human-induced floor vibrations. Inrecent years, there are many comfort criterions of vibration problem. These standards aredifferent in evaluation. The comfort problem of human-induced floor vibrations does nothave uniform standard in china.so the main task of research is comprehensive comfortevaluation. The key of vibration comfort is evaluation methods and evaluation. In this paper, Ifocus on acceleration evaluation criterion to study steel structure comfort. It indicates thatthe evaluation just based on the static deflection and individual pulse can not satisfydemand. In this paper, to well evaluate structure comfort of jumping excitation,I applytwo methods, one is static deflection method to validate the maximum deflection of steelfloor induced by comfort evaluation, the result illustrates that deflection method meetrequirement; another is based on the root-mean-square acceleration that can’t meet thecomfort requirement. The criteria should consider the temporal and spatial effects ofhuman-induced floor vibrations. In order to maintain the comfort of occupants, thetime-history analysis need to be consider.By sectionally periodically evaluatingacceleration time-history curve that is obtained by multiple pedestrian excitationsaccording to the periodicity of the applied load, the result shows that interaction ofvibration under repeated group people excitation might would lead to uncomfortablefeeling at a certain time. And comfort evaluation used in a whole process can notcomprehensively evaluate comfort issue of buildings. We can find that during the processof segmental and cyclical assessment the acceleration time-history curve is not nonlinear. In which the maximum value appears within middle certain period. Based on theroot-mean-square acceleration method, comparison to the result obtained by analyzing theentire curve, the segmental analysis is more reasonable. In this paper, I also further study the comfort of steel-floor induced by single walking. And sectionally periodically analyse the acceleration time-history curve based onperiodicity of applied load. The result shows the comfort evaluation value does not reduce with the unloading; the maximum value will appear within a certain period of loading. However the most uncomfortable period will not appear in loading time. It follows thatvibration interference through walking excitation would make people uncomfortable. When we use the root-mean-square acceleration to evaluate the entire period, We maybeignore some uncomfortableness in the middle; by contrast, segmental evaluation is morecomprehensive.
