The construction of foundation pit is affected by the engineering geology andhydrogeology, adjacent buildings around the foundation, the location of municipalpipelines, earth pressure and water pressure, the scheme of excavation and a number ofother factors, so excavation engineering is a highly comprehensive system engineering.Choosing a scientific and rational foundation pit support program is of great significancefor ensuring the foundation pit construction and the safety of the surrounding environment,speeding up the progress of the project and reducing project cost.There are10main building in the third project in the new world of Wuhai, InnerMongolia, and Most of the main building foundation bed are above the garage and thecivil air defense engineering foundation bed. When constructing garage and the civildefense engineering after the main building construction completed, suspended soil layerare produced in the building and garage and civil air defense engineering junction. Thepresences of the suspension of soil may made the finished main building instability or slip.According to a comprehensive analysis of influencing factors of the foundation excavation,the economic foundation pit support program of the suspended soil is designed, whichcomposed of manual digging pile and soil nail wall: In addition to the#1,#4building,the pit edge of the high level part use the9m anchorage depth manual hole digging pile tosupport it and the multilayer part of5#,8#building use6m anchorage depth. Theremaining are made of soil nailing. In order to ensure the safety and reliability of thefoundation pit supporting scheme, using Lizheng deep foundation pit design software tocalculate the project scheme which used the manual hole digging pile and soil nail wall isnecessary. The results show that the manual hole digging pile reinforcement, buried depthand the nailing wall all meet the design requirements. The reasonable foundation pitconstruction scheme is made. Scientific and reasonable scheme of foundation pit supportand construction create conditions for the smooth completion of the project.
