Concrete is one of the most widely used and also the most important construction materialswhich has been all over the buildings, bridges, wate, roads and so on, such as buildings, river, embankment dam. When concrete structure withstand the static load, it beared a lot of dynamicloads too, such as an earthquake load and wind load on the role of buildings and bridges, theimpact of the waves on the dam and so on, they have the concrete to withstand much larger thanthe static load deformation, and showed a great difference in the mechanical properties of thestatic loads. The dynamic mechanical properties of concrete have an important impact on thesecurity and stability of the structure, and it has become a key factor in the structural designprocess. So it is need to have a further study on the dynamic mechanical properties of concrete.According to the characteristics of dynamic loads that the concrete structure may be subjectto, the uniaxial dynamic compression test of high-strength concrete was done. The impact ofstrain rate on the mechanical and deformation properties, which include compressive strength, elastic modulus, critical strain and poissonĖŠs ratio of high-strength concrete were systematicallystudied in this paper. The stress-strain curve in compression under the different stain rates wasproposed. The effect laws of strain rate on the strength, elastic modulus and peak strain ofhigh-strength concrete were obtained by regression analysis, and the relation formula betweenstrain rate and strength, elastic modulus and peak strain of high-strength concrete were also putforward. Simultaneously, taking into account the structure of actual force characteristics, it alsostudied the dynamic compressive strength and deformation characteristics of high-strengthconcrete experienced a loading history in the same way, and analyzed related indicators.According to the introduction of strain rate factor after the analysis of the test results, combined with the concrete static constitutive model, a new uniaxial dynamic compressiveconstitutive model of the high-strength concrete was established. The uniaxial compressiveconstitutive model was validated by the test data. The results show the accuracy and scientific ofthe model. It laid the foundation for the study of other concrete dynamic constitutive relation.
