With the continuous development of society, our country gradually increase infrastructure construction dynamics, that makes the transportation industry in our country is becoming more and more important in the development of the economy. Especially the construction of rural mountain area highway, that great aspects mountain people’s travel, makes the mountain rural economy developed rapidly. However, due to the particularity of mountainous geographical environment, there will be many special phenomenon, such as landslide, debris flow and so on, which cause serious economic loss. Therefore, it will be very meaningful to research the mountains highway slope stability problem.This paper firstly analyzes the analysis calculation method, failure form and support methods of slope stability. On this basis, combing ANSYS finite element softwarewith FLAC3d software, study the following several aspects of rock slope:1.Establishing layered rock slope model, keep model other parameters constant, only change the cohesive force of structural plane. By comparing the displacement and stress of key point, analysis the influence of cohesive force of structural plane on slope stability.2. Establishing layered rock slope model, keep model other parameters constant, only change the internal friction of structural plane. By comparing the displacement and stress of key point, analysis the influence of internal friction of structural plane on slope stability.3. According to a proposed slope, establish a slope that contains one weak surface. Design three different excavation scheme, by analysis the displacement, stress and plastic area of models after excavation, judge the stability of slope. Then reinforcement the instability slope. Finally choose the most appropriate scheme4. Simulation a proposed multilayer rock slope, to design the reasonable excavation method, make the slope remain in a stable condition. Analysis the displacement deformation and stress distribution of slope in different excavation steps, draw the change rule of layered rock slope under excavation.
