In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s economic, the curved singlepedestal pier bridges has been widely applied as its modelling beautiful, smooth lines, occupiedarea is relatively small, relatively low cost and so on many kinds of advantages. Accidents ofthe curved single pedestal pier bridges occur frequently inpractice of construction due to lack ofknowledge on the unique force performance of the curved single pedestal pier bridges.It isurgently necessary to carry out analysis on this bridge and reinforcement measures. This paperis based on the engineering example of a bridge in Hebei province. This article mainly researchcontents and the main achievements are as follows:1、The interpretation of the curved box girder bridges with single pedestal piers calculationtheory and numerical calculation method,define the Ansys finite element analysis softwarebased on the spatial entity unit model, determine Support position of the most unfavorablestress. To calculate the influence line of the support, according to the influence line, calculatecounteracting force of the most unfavorable load combinations, acording to support reactionbridges will happen upsetting.2、Analysis of bridge pier support eccentricity size,And the role of the eccentricity toimprove the stability of the bridge.and modal analysis of the bridge,to analyze the stiffness ofthe bridge. Choose the new fulcrum, analysis of the bridge rigidity variation. To clarify thecause of bridge overthrow.3、Introduced the planting bar technology, steel reinforced concrete technology calculationtheory, method. According to the structure of the bridge itself and stress situation, choose therightly innovative reinforcement scheme, and strengthening calculation.4、On the reinforcement scheme for checking,the bridge before and after reinforcementstress, supporting force and deformation and so on were analyzed.See through the steelreinforced concrete structure and planting bar reinforcement scheme under the action of common. Single column pier curve box beam bridge transverse overturning resistance abilityhad been improved significantly. Shows that the bridge reinforcement method has goodapplicability and superiority.
