Mass and three axes of centroid are concernful parameters of mass property, aswell as the significant parameters for holistic design of aerocraft. Measurement ofmass and three axes of centriod usually plays an important role in the ground test foraerocrafts. To make sure that suitable manipulability and stability are achieved torealize the high precision flight control and bombardment of aerocraft, it’s usuallypressing necessity to doing tests of masses and centroids for several cabins withdifferent dimensions of aerocraft, when assemblage and debugging works are beingdone. Nowadays most mass¢riod measuring instruments are particularapparatuses which can determine the masses and centriods for the certain type ofcabins, what’s more, they have to re position the cabins when measuring mass andcentriod, obviously, they can’t meet the testing demands for cabins with large massesand dimensions at present. Acoording to the mass¢roid testing demands for acertain missle, this thesis put forward an idea based on4point weighing method,which can determine the mass and all three axes of the centroid without having tore position the cabins, and developed a set of measuring apparatus which candetermine the masses and centroids of multiply missle cabins, and the main researchcontents of this thesis are including:Through summarizing the measuring methods for determining objects’ massesand centroids, as well as considering the practical technique demands for the task, thecertain weighing method was put forward. The machinery of measuring system wasdesigned to make the apparatus could measure mass and all three axes of the centroidof a missle cabin without having to re position the cabin, and this system wascompatible for measuring the masses and centroids of multiply cabins which haddifferent dimensions.Acoording to machinery design and technique demands for the mass¢roidmeasurement, the electrical system was designed, and several key electrical moduleswere analysed and chosen. Serial interfaces of host computer were extended by thePCI1610A card in order to gather4signals of transducers synchronously. Theparameters of electromotor were calculated as well. Including the transducer signals’collection module and electromotor driving module, the entire electrical system wasconstituted ultimately. The algorithms of mass and all three axes of the centroid were educed throughthe postion data of4transduers in measuring coordinate and principles of4pointweighing method, as well as the geometric parameters of the machinery. Consideringthe software demands for this task, an interactive measuring and controling softwarebased on Win32operating system was developed by using the developing tool ofVisual Basic6.0.The measuring uncertainties of mass and centroid were estimated by the Class Bassessing method. The functions of whole system and measuring precision wereeventually validated by measuring experiments.
